Hey, I've been trying to get some help with an amp I recently bought. It is a Fender Ultra Chorus with Peavy speakers. I've been getting a buzzing sound when I play on the clean channel and hit certain notes (mainly low, but not exclusively), but it doesnt sound like it is comming from the speakers, more like something is loose in the top.... it is pretty obvious, but I don't know anything about this..... I have also started getting a high pitch feedback when I use the drive channel, even when I mute the all strings, though this only happens sometimes..... I didnt have these problems to begin with, and they aren't really major, just annoying.

maybe you should just open it up and see if anything is loose. And if you can't find anything i would take it to the shop. Otherwise you start messing with the amp and it gets really fucked up

Another stupid question: how do I keep from fucking something up when I open it?

Well... look but don't touch? Don't pull out stuff, cut wires, urinate in your amp etc..
Opening up any back plate or such won't do any damage, tampering with the electronics will.
