Ive a Triple XXX head right now, and im in the process of planning a rack. One in wich I plan to control with a midi controller. my question is what I would need to change channels on my amp with a midi controller, seeing as my amp doesnt support midi?

does the xxx head come with a normal pedal to switch channels? i would just use that

The idea is to beable to hit one switch on my foot controller and switch channels and add/remove effects. instead of having to hit multiple switches.

oh i see what your saying, if your really seriouse about it maybe you should check out that amazing floor board john uses from dream theater....though i cant recall what its called to save my life, im sure its on his site though

if you dont know about it, its a huge thing that you program with all your effects and presets, then you click it once to load it all in, then when your ready you click it again and it kicks in the effects and sounds

I think the Behringer FCB1010 has an amp-control jack. I also think some MIDI-controlled preamps/fx-units have amp-control jacks...

a digital music corp 'ground control' will switch amp channels, midi and has 8 fx loops. new they run $800.
