Yeah, from The Drink Shop
Great website, they stock fucking everything!
My dad has told me about Shochu, he lives in Japan so has first-hand experience with the stuff, apparently if you drink it with fresh fruit juice you have no hangover the next day!
I heard Paul Gilbert singing about Asahi beer so I thought "Fuck it!", I've had Kirin Ichi-Ban which wasn't very good but screw it hehehe!

I only stumbled open that one by accident, bloody glad I did! They have my favorite lager, "ZYWIEC", bloody great Polish lager, next best one is Lithuainia's "Svyturys", great stuff!

yeah it is. This cd really revived my guitar playing with new motivation. I've been playing almost nothing but blues lately, writing sludgy riffs and ear learning some Joe Bonamassa and the like.

1972 Dodge Dart with a trick 360 motor with 340 heads. I got a new cam, lifters, piston rings, main bearings, new oil pump, I put in new cam bearings myself, degreed the new cam to the harmonic balancer, rebuilt a transmission myself... now I'm just waiting for that damn intake to come in the mail, and I can finally bolt the engine to the tranny and get those fuckers in the car

Nice. You seem pretty well-versed in your motor work. I love cars and all my friends are gear heads to the bone but I'm still in the middle of a foreign conversation whenever they discuss cars. It's an awesome field and one that I can understand completely why someone would have a passion to pursue.
Anyway, pertaining to the thread, I just bought a 1935 one dollar Silver Certificate. I compared the Silver Certificate with the Federal Reserve Note and saw some interesting differences, notably the lack of the phrase "In God We Trust", which wasn't added until 1957. I wish the photos were a little clearer but meh, good enough for government work.

Just bought a new computer. Spent 1400 dollars on it. This is the first time i've had to pay for an operating system..... fucking 170 bucks just so i can have Vista Ultimate... jesus, it was almost the single most expensive item on the list besides the video card. 360 bucks for the video card.

I have a 1972 Dodge Dart with a completely rebuilt motor and transmission that I put together myself. 1974 360 cid with a Summit purple cam, J heads with 2.02 intake and 1.80 exhaust valves, Edelbrock Air Gap intake... turbo action shift kit in the tranny and a 5 plate front clutch drum, kevlar front and low end reverse bands, aftermarket servos and springs... 741 front loader posi with 3.23 gears.... ya know, the good stuff. I never took the rear end apart because it used to be on a '71 Demon I used to have that would smoke both tires off every time. Btw I bought a Holley 670 Street Avenger carburetor. It's a double pumper so I need that gas line

Both good, but both got boring fast to me.
Anyway, picked up Evile - Enter the Grave. Very good new thrash. Vocalist sounds almost identical to Cronos.

i was in Prague with my cousins for 4 days, then in Brno with my grandparents for about 6.
Brno is a pretty boring Czech town with nothing to do. Prague is a pretty awesome place though, lots of cool bars and things to see. I wouldn't mind going there again.

I did which is why I got them for that low of a price. After my first two days of school I soon realized I would have to return 3/6 books and buy new copies. In the college I'm attending you need a product key to do online work for lab. A bloody scam, even the professors admit to it.

been a while since i bought music equipment.
Ebay lot
for those that dont want to read the whole page:
this is a deal i came across while looking for a Roland GR-20 Guitar Synth. instead i found a GR-33 w/ hard case and a Ibanez RG series w/ hard case together, for $990. apparently this guitar was custom made in Japan, especially for use with the GR-33.

This place sure has gotten slower.
Today I picked up a PSP and a SOCOM game for it. Figured it would be nice to have something like this while on deployment. Unfortunately I didn't buy a memory card..thinking there was at least some space on the PSP itself. Oh well..now I'll get to play more of the game when I REALLY have nothing else to do.
Anyone know of any good games that are worth buying?

If you're into RPGs check out: Disgaea, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Valhalla Knights 2 and Crisis Core: FFVII. Aside from RPGs there is Tekken, GTA, and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Once you get a memory stick you can pirate, run emulators and turn your PSP into one hell of a system.
