I saw the best of Looney Toons while baked. Man, old school Porky Pig is fuckin ri-donkluous. There was this one that was totally acid-esque where the background looked like a Salvador Dali painting, yet it was animated. Totally trippy.
I also love how racist old cartoons are. Black people are always represented by crows....It's hilarious.
I've only seen one really good Muppet movie, but I'm sure the best of is sweet. ANIMAL For the FUCKING WIN!

It's good to see someone who likes Portishead.

I really don't know. I wasn't aware there are so many versions out there. It's not a picture disc, it's not the clear red splatter reissue (I think only SBG through ITP are available like that, in the 5 disc reissue box set), it's not a gate fold reissue, "under one flag" or "Combat" don't appear anywhere. It's just the Roadrunner reissue I suppose, on 180 gram.

yeah thats what I said, SBG through ITP.
Nice, though. Where'd you find 'em and how much did you pay?
edit: I find it funny that I saw this article just after buying the lp. whatever, I'll scarf up that one too; you can never collect too much stuff that won't always be available.

Yep. It's not used too often to my knowledge, the only person I've seen use a bow other than Jimmy is Claudio from Coheed and Cambria.

Yeah, I probably should have gotten this a long time ago. I got Iron about a year ago and fell in love, but this seems better. Where have I been?

not that it has anything to do with the quality of the album, but it also took me a long time to buy it, for some reason. i guess because i had already heard it 100+ times, and was buying it solely for collection purposes.

Yeah. Well, I wouldn't say "from". It originally ran in England before Adult Swim.

You have to find a good tobacconist shop. I'm sure they have one where you live.

Yamaha YTS-275 Tenor Sax
Just bought this saxophone from the UK. It was the cheapest i've seen it for sale. I was gonna buy one on ebay but this price is basically the exact same price except its new. Also most of the lower quality (not nearly as good looking ones, and older) ones on ebay were going for this same price.
For some reason the states doesn't carry this model... (the upgraded lower end model).
Oh well, finally got a rockin sax on the way!

Actually I only bought one on ebay for 75 bucks including shipping and handling. That's a pretty good deal so I couldn't pass it up.

I'm going to get the bridge pickup for even cheaper from a local music shop, I spend so much money there, they're giving me a huge deal, I'm talking 50% off.

Now and then you can catch some good shit. I've seen stuff like 5150 stacks, triple mesa boogie stacks, crate bass amps and some other stuff. And this isn't a pretty small town too.

I sold a vintage crate amp with celestions to one onetime. It served my old band pretty well. Had such a fucking unique distortion, definitely haven't heard anything like it before.

what does a 5 to 1 kickdown kit do?
went on a NEX and commissary run yesterday. bought some unsalted peanuts, shampoo, two bags of different kinds of chicken chunks (like beef jerky..we aren't allowed to buy beef jerky though), stay flo, heavy starch, shoe polish sponge thing, q tips, lint roller, IP scissors, and i think that might be it.
the commissary was such a tease..so many tempting items that we weren't allowed to buy.

Its funny how the other branches have no idea what the hell an IP is.....
They just call them "thread things" or something stupid like that.

Right on man, a very nice instrument indeed. I wish I had never sold my Yamaha clarinet for mushrooms and weed many years back..

Oh dear god boy!.. Well sounds like you've learned your lesson.
I've been playing it alot lately. Been spending close to 4 hours a day working on technique and jazz theory.
Been pretty fruitful.

no, he's going to invite requiem over and they are going to rave it up.
just bought a new pair of shoes for PT..the ones i was using are way too old. the doctor recommended i some new ones to help prevent any future ankle/foot trouble. also bought some white shirts, and some buffalo chicken chunks. (think beef jerky only with chicken.)
