haha well i didn't name it..i just bought it. actually, for whatever reason, the name is a big deal for most hot sauce companies...just look up a website that sells them...ass reaper sauce, etc. haha i was actually in the chat room here and we were looking at all these different crazy names and somehow i found a forum all about spicy food. i wound up joining it since i've loved spicy food since i was a little kid and the owner/creator of defcon sauces is a member there and everyone seems to think his sauce is the shit so i ordered some. its pretty damn good too. i think i'm gonna buy some wings on the way home tonight and give myself some fiery shits tomorrow! 
this stuff came with a booklet that has some uses, and it says you can dilute it with water and spray your garden to keep animals from eating your plants. hah

haha actually they have no clue whats in there. one time i did tell the guy what it was since usps fucked up the delivery..i said i hope its not dead! so he gave me an exacto and i opened it up right there and showed the guy. he thought it was pretty cool i guess. hes actually the one that said open it up and check.

hah that is one way to do it! personally i would advise against it cause you never know what might happen...i'd rather hate myself for a mishap than my friend.
always good to know they are not crazy high strung...it makes routine maintenance much less stressful! i don't have any too crazy ones so far, but some people have tarantulas that freak out and go into striking mode if you even so much as touch the lid. mine prefer to run to cover so far.

yea it is fairly stressful, but not too bad. it was overnight mail so it only took one day well..besides that they delivered at a random time and i had to pick it up the next day. basically you catch the spider and put it in a small container with some holes in it and lay down some soft paper towels kind of like a bowl...get it lightly damp, put the spider in. then cover the top with paper towels like the bottom. snap on the lid, tape it down just in case. fill the box with foam peanuts or some newspaper to keep the container from shaking inside the box. tape up the box and thats it. so far i've received and mailed out about 40 or so tarantulas and not one of them arrived dead so far. but its not unheard of to have some not make it...especially smaller ones. this girl is about 5" in leg span though so shes pretty well established. will probably grow out another 2" or so.
thanks bass. that is my favorite species i'd say..but there are others that are way more colorful.

wow, i just picked mine up myself without a problem, it was very very calm all the time, not biting, running or flicking, i even never saw it strike a pose when i open the lid or change the water. pretty extraordinary in comparison to yours

cool...sounds like you lucked out and got a really nice one. yea, they are each individuals with their own personalities...even some of the african "baboon" tarantulas which are notorious for being evil and pissed off are just little fuzzy teddy bears. though most are crazy and hate everything haha. i've seen someones rose hair (the most common and usually one of the most docile) that was insane and this person stuck some foam brush in there and the spider bit into it and wouldn't let go. the girl was able to lift the spider up and it would just hang on with its fangs and its legs were stretched straight out in all directions.
just don't forget to be careful and respect them since they are still wild animals, even if they don't live in the wild.

mine seems to ignore the waterdish, i havent seen it drink even once. One time it walked to the dish but when he touched the water it seemed scared or something, weird. I guess it doesnt need to drink since there's so much moist from the soil |

Well i had a very disappointing buy today. I bought "Dry Kill Logics" new CD and did it suck ass. Their previous self titled CD was heavy as hell and i really enjoyed it. But as for this one i guess it will be just another CD to throw in the fire at the next party!
However I'm not too disappointed i ordered "OverKill's", The Years of Decay and "Megadeth's", Rust In Peace. So I'm semi happy at this moment.

oh man, when i have a hangover, the smell of cigarettes can almost make me puke, seriously. i just hate that smell when hungover. one time i was at this apartment where everyone was smoking, i got home late and woke up with a hangover. the cigarette smell on my clothes and hair helped me to puke within minutes.

Mines 4th generation. I bought it to replace the player in my truck. My CD/MP3 in dash player has went to shit, but it has a aux in jack on the front. So I figured an ipod would solve that problem as well as anytime I need mobile music.

My car does not have an aux jack, HOWEVER... I bout an 80 dollar fm transmitter thingy. You plug it in to the cigarette lighter, dial in a radio frequency on the thingy (that is just static normally, don't try to fight with a major radio station or something, ha), and then match it on your car radio, and you are good to go. It works pretty nicely.

Yeah i've heard of and seen those. A major problem is my cigarette lighter is fucked up hha. I think like something fell out of it sometime where now nothing sits in their correctly and works. Which blows cause i can't charge my phone, my video cameras batteries, or.. in this case use one of those transmitter things hah.

damn that sucks. i would assume the spider will be alright, but i would make sure they know not to do it in the future. the spider probably more freaked out about being blown on. the wind disturbs all of their sensory hairs and they bug out. all the smoke probably rose up and out of the enclosure, and if the spider went down into its burrow, it got even further away.
the problem about too much smoke is the way their lungs are layed out. they're called book lungs, and they look like a side of a book that is closed(not the side with the binding) http://www.sci.sdsu.edu/classes/bio201/book%20lung.gif lots of small folded layers of tissue/membrane (not sure what the right word is for that stuff) air just passes into the folds and is absorbed through the "pages" ..its a pretty bad layout or dealing with smoke and you can see how resin could, in time, build up and restrict air.
i don't really know how long it would take for that to happen though, so i can't say how fast or slow it could happen. |

All great games, I was really impressed with Far Cry, the graphics and the lighting system is amazing. Republic Commando shits all over Halo in my opinion, fuck Halo. Deus Ex is like an RPG/first person shooter which is really cool, it's not just mindless shooting and killing like most of them.

i like halo 2 because pwning n00bs was never so easy. and it has smooth controls... i cant deal with jerky controls like in xbox counterstrike... i just get so frusterated when i try to pwn n00bs with my sniper. I've never played farcry, but obviously i have to if it has the potential to change my opinion like that. Its so exciting experiencing new games... its like popping a gamers cherry.

I doubt you could beat me. First off, I have no life which enables me to play any where from 6-10 hours a day. Second, I have xbox live and I've been to many tournaments placing in the top every time.Come back when you can BxR and BxB. |
