I've been killing these cds! basically non stop listening from yesterday and today... I haven't even listened to a 1/4 of Miasma yet.
I'm loving this genre, I'll have to get into more bands...and learn Swedish...naw, I can't even speak french.

I haven't heard any of those bands...not even ensiferum...the fact my computer is soundless/FUCKED explains why.
I have heard a lot of great things from this Ensiferum though.

damn. well, i believe you would like all five of those bands if you like finntroll, it just sort of fits in the same catagory. to be on the safe side, for you, ill tell you that Moonsorrow and Turisas are most like Finntroll, so you could try them first if you like.

Thanks for the suggestions Timedragon, I'll have to download songs when I get this new computer(whenever that will be) or maybe even pick up some cds...I'm pretty sure I've seen Moonsorrow and Ensiferum..not to sure about the others.

Yes it is. I liked how Metallica did that. Even if they are old and the songs aren't great, it's still cool watching bands play.

thats good, for you anyway. im happy ill have it soon regardless of who else has it or for how long. the thing is ive wanted it, or them rather, for two years, since i first heard their stuff. most people dont have to wait that long to own an album from a band. so i cant fuckin wait to hear it all. i dont think im misfortunate for getting it a tad late, i just think you are lucky for getting it sooner. anyway, do you like it? what would you say about it? i think ill love it.

I've sacrificed the joys of snowboarding to get this. I'm hoping this is my last equipment purchase for awhile. I kept my SS modeling head for recording purposes. For some reason it has great clean tones and is a great FX bank.

Thats quite a big toss up, but you can play gat way more than you can snowboard.
Snowboarding is fucking fantastic though, theres something about just cruising down a mountain...

Definitely. But the decision to quit snowboarding wasn't just for the amp, part of it is health issues. I have had several concussions and broken wrists and so taking a risk may not seem like the best thing at the moment, especially with a possible sports hernia. But hopefullly I'll work this summer and buy it back. And part of me decided to quit because there's just no respect on the mountain's anymore. There's no respect for us locals by the tourists, and even the resorts themselves are catering to the needs and wants of tourists, not the locals. May I remind them that the locals provide 100% of their season ticket sales.

Two words - wrist guards
It's a lot harder in someways than skateboarding. Because the nature of it is different. Skateboarding is harder to jump and whatnot, but snowboarding is a lot faster, harder to turn, etc. It's a rush though. You can buy my board if you want
Burton Air or my Rome Anthem
Both have Rome Targa bindings

man i have random wrist pain often due to catching my falls for 4 years. i would buy a board, but i live at the bottom of texas, so it would be no use, if i ever live where it snows frequent and has hills, id buy one though.

Heh, yea, I learned not to catch my falls, when I did break my wrist it was the first time I went. I now have pain there frequently, and it sucks. Haha, I may end up giving my Burton away, but I'll definitely try to sell the Rome, cuz that's some good shit.

Zeros are good. I like Alien Workshops. My friend buys that kind all the time and they are always nice. I've been riding a Black Label for a while now.

Yeah Alien Workshops are fairly heavy usually. They are also pretty wide. My current board isn't wide at all. Mainly the reason why I don't like it too much. Tricks I can do on other boards fairly easy are fairly hard on my board.
Now I want to go skate. Stupid New York weather. Few more months to go.

nice thinking! if i had thought of that i would have done that to my new boards when i skated. not just for the strength but i was really really into grinds/slides. noseslide was probably my favorite. as far as the board brands discussion; my order of deck brands: black label, darkstar, zero, element. always spitfire wheels, and mother-fucking-ALWAYS Krux trucks! mirror hanger, black base. havnt thought about that memory for years.
EDIT: today i bought Real life-send me an angel/best of. 80s electronic.
