Psycroptic news
Eh, I figured I'd update you all.
#1: Matt Chalk (vocalist) got kicked out of the band yesterday. Something about the European thing, not sure.
#2: They have an album worth of songs.
#3: New merch.
#4: US tour with Deeds of Flesh upcoming.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!??!?!?!?!?!?
How can this be true????? I'm fucking shocked. Did they think Peppi did a better job?
Or did they think he wasn't committed? Oh fuck Oh Fuck Oh Fuck Oh Fuck. He was such a great vocalist and frontman for the band, I can't fucking believe this. Even the fact that they have an album's worth of songs isn't cheering me up at the moment.

wait wait wait, Chalky? Wasn't he in Intense Hammer Rage? What are they thinking?!?! Chalky is awesome!!! I would look over anything just to keep him in the band if I were them. Oh well...

Oh sorry, I was thinking of Ricey. But none the less, Chalky is still awesome. At least they didn't kick out their drummer.

He was a good vocalist, but he couldn't do much to communicate with the croud. I am interested to see whom will replace him, and my suspician leads to Peppi. Is he as diverse as Chalky, Nihilist?

Chalky was a very good vocalist, but I very rarely focus on his vocals as the guitars and drumming keep me more than occupied. As long as the Haley boys are there, I don't mind who comes and goes. Looking forward to a new album from them as it will be interesting to see how they have developed in the past two years.

Hm, nah. He is a better vocalist, but not as diverse. Cooler guy also. I'd be more than happy to see him replace Chalky.
Kinda makes me wonder how you guys picked up on the "Chalky, Ricey, Peppi" thingy. I must have typed it up somewhere.

Scepter was an awesome album. let's hope that chaging vocals won't affect the quality of the next album.

Ill take your word that he is good, maybe i should just go pick up the born headless cd and search for secondary vocals.
Personally, the diversity in the vocals 'was' something that I really loved about Psycroptic, which i felt helped them to differentiate from other Brutal Death bands.
Oh and on the "Chalky, Ricey, Peppi" thingy, Corwyn does it too, so maybe its a combonation of the two of you, except Ricey, whom is only known as Ricey : http://free.hostdepartment.com/I/IHR/lineup.htm

I'll still be around though, so feel free to keep in touch.
Cheers for now.

Hmm damn. As BoC said, I just loved how he was so diverse and could change voices so quickly and rapidly.
