Tunnings for......
OK I want to learn some songs and I just need to know what tunnings the following bands use: If you don't know just take a guess.
Gorerotted
Cock And Ball Torture
Ghoul
Rigor Mortis
Inhume
Repulsion
Hemdale
Thanks.

Part of progressing as a guitarist is learning the tunings yourself by ear.

I don't know the tunings as I don't listen to such bands, but why didn't you just check them in the tab pages?

True but with this style of music it is very difficult. Plus it would take forever to try out all the tunnings just to see what it was.

just try some tunings, if d doesnt sound right go to c etc. thats probaly the easiest way to find out. btw how long can it take to tune from 1 tuning to another??? i mean u might have get some new string with a different gauge. but u can stil try to get a few tunings with the same set of strings.. see what i what mean
anyway good luck

Cock And Ball Torture IS there, because I PUT them there. I think they are in Drop A (or somewhere low like that, its rather hard to hear exactly).
Im fairly sure Ghoul would be tuned to B.
Gorrotted sounds c'ish (standard).
Inhume i would be thinking standard b.
The other bands im not familiar with.
Good enough?

Sorry I don't have power tab so I could'nt see what the tab was.
I think CBT do use A.
Thanks though. I was thinking Gorerotted was is D. But I'll try some songs in C# and C.
