well.....
 i didn't like IOWA at all. Thankfully, i didn't buy it, i found it on the net, and saved myself 20$ which i'd rather spend on some rocks or dog shit somewhere, it would prove to be more usefull.
Anyways, i just find they havent changed at all since the first album, and the songs sound too much like the first cd, except crappier......it's like instead of getting better with time, like wine, they just rotted and became garbage.

i saw, with great disappointment, that the Iowa promotions were up in the front window of Utopia records and not Slayer stuff.... I have no intention whatsoever of getting Iowa.

THOUGH I LIKE IOWA, ITS NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST CD BUT I DO LIKE A FEW TRACKS SUCH AS HERETIC SONG, PEOPLE=SHIT, AND A FEW OTHER SONGS. THOUGH I CANT AGREE WITH THE OPINION THAT THEY HAVENT CHANGED, BECAUSE I THINK THEY HAVE CHANGED. THEIR SONGS ON THE FIRST CD WERE A LOT FASTER

Yeah, I've heared, that Iowa is a very blockbuster, opened a very new musical style, more proggresive metal, than any of the previous styles. It's full of well-done 5-6 minute long alien fast giutar solos, bouncy, tricky, fast, and blazing drum parts, which doesn't makes the music fucked up... 
Hmmm... I'm tired I won't continue.

I picked up Iowa the other day, and I think it's pretty good. Sure their guitar players suck, but it isn't ALL about the guitars.
Katham- I sense your sarcasm, and while the guitarists can't play worth ass, they're drummer is certainly badass. You're supposed to listen to something before you judge it and that is something you certainly did not do. Either that or you just weren't paying attention to the drum parts and just assumed they sucked. Either way, Slipknot's drummer is the best to come along in years.

well yeah Slipknot sucks but I think Iron Maiden does too and I only like some Slayer songs.
and I don't consider Venom the first Black Metal band ... they just gave the name to the genre with the album called "Black Metal" ,but they aren't BM and they were fake in everything they said ...for them it was just something cool but never followed it.
