7-string amplification
i was wondering
i am getting ready to purchase a schecter c-7
i currently play a cort through a Fender FM212r 100W 2x12 combo. eventually i want a triple rec, but until then, does anyone have any good suggestions for how to amp the7-string without taking anything away from its sound or cutting bottom end?

there's no difference between a 6 and 7 string other than the obvious. if you don't want to cut the bottom end then don't cut it.

the biggest tip I can give you is get a CLEAR pickup, that B string can get really muddy unless your using the right pickup.

Get the SD Invader 7 string version, thats SUPER clear. Perfect clearness without any mud AT ALL! 
But basically, when you get the 7 string, fuck with the fucking knobs to get a fucking good fucking sound, you fuck ass.

i love my 7-string, but i still have stock pickups, and they suprizingly arent bad for stock pickups, but they still get muddy on the top string, i i want to check out those SD pickups i have seen them around but i figured the blaze 7 or emg 707 were better, but i havnt been hearing to much good stuff about those ones.

the 707 isent to great... even with fresh batteries is muds up at times.. my Dimarzio EVO gets the job done for less $ and actually has TONE

Last time I checked, Musician's Friend was selling a blemished Warp 7 two twelve combo for 2-300$. But as I've heard, those are'nt even worth that much anyway |
