Online guitar shopping
As i will probably be ordering a guitar online this summer because most instruments in Iceland cost twice as much as they do in the US for example ...I will be needing some advice on online guitar stores, please post your experience (if you have any) with such stores. What is the best choice ?
(I didn't know if i should post this here or in gear, if i posted in the wrong place please let me know and i will move it ASAP)

A friend of mine bought some ibanez and esp from music123 about 2 years ago. Due to the great distance between Romania and the Unided States the guitars arrived after 3 or 4 weeks. They were in great shape. The down side with music 123 is that they charge a lot of money on transport. After that experience my friend boght another 2 esps form jrrshop.com . The transport taxes were much lower (but still from US to Romania) . Again the guitars were in perfect condition.

Just look for the best deal. I've bought tons of shit online and never had a bad experience yet (except for e-bay, you've got to be careful with that site). www.musiciansfriend.com www.samash.com www.etc...etc...etc...
Good luck and be sure to hi to Bjork for me. I love that chick...

Yeah shipping from America might be quite expensive. I suggest checking out the German shops, also check out ebay.de - I have gotten quite a things from Germany, and postage for my snowboard (even bigger than a guitar obviously) was pretty cheap. Around 15 euros by UPS.

How much exactly? I'm form slovenia and that's not very far from romania. I guess the transport will be cheaper know for slovenia, since we are EU.

don't you have to pay a fee based on how much the item is valued at?
