i dont really think so, theres alot of so called hardcore bands that sound more like the whats in the catalogues of profane existance records,tribal war or prank records, thats not hardcore, discharge is not hardcore, as with all the millions of permutations of discharge sounding bands. thats my meaning, alot of people reference this stuff as hardcore for some reason nowadays
