The best video game song to play on guitar
whaddya guys think are the best songs to learn on guitar from video games.
I like a lot of the work on Final Fantasy for the playstation, and a lot of stuff from Castlevania, especially Symphony of the night. And a lot of Sonic the hedgehog stuff is cool.

yeah the coin sounds are natural harmonics that go like:
--(5)-----------
--(5)-----------
--(5)----------
---------------
---------------
---------------
and the green pipe sounds are sliding down the fretboard consecutively, probably on E, A, or D

The original Sega Toejam and Earl music is a great background to solo over with a classic bass line. The emulator and ROM for PC use are readily available on the web.

Sometimes I like to play all the mega man tunes. The ones from mega man X and later are awesome. Another fun one to play is the double dragon theme. Someone from mysongbook.com managed to tab it with the solos.

I have a really good tab for The Legend Of Zelda. It is near perfect, I could even tab it one and 2 octaves lower since the song does incorporate octaves I believe. If anyone wants my version of Legend of Zelda tabs, I will send em yer way.

Yep. If you notice the whole game has a great amount 80's metal references. Characters with names such as Venom, Testament, Axl, and someother one's too. I read interview with the creators and they intended for this to happenen. Get the soundtracks if you can there's some good shred in them. \m/

TETRIS...
... gotta love it!
I did try learning Mario Bros a while ago, but the tab was incomplete and I hadn't listened to it in forever... so I gave up. But yeah, it is cool!
