My new RG550
My RG550 arrived today! It's an '02 in Burgundy Mist - the colour is beautiful -very pimp.
I basically wanted a Floyd Rose equipped guitar to go crazy with, but similiar to my Strat.
Yep, picked it up for a cool £280, used. It has several stains on the neck - I'm not sure what they are, perhaps dried coffee stains or something, but they don't affect playability.

nice, i always wanted to play one of those. deron miller played one in foreign objects (not that you know who they are)
they look nice
and coffee stains = saving 100s of pounds. worth it

Yeah, it's quite a bit faster than the neck on my Strat. Takes a while to get used to, since my Strat has a thicker neck and medium/jumbo frets. Well I've been playing it exclusively.

That's how I found this beauty!
(three months back some lucky bastard won a 02 RG570 for £210! )
Edit: Yeah i think it's just dirt. If it was coffee it would be sticky, and I would be able to feel it.

but i was just curious because, as sad as it may seem to some of you lot, mick thomson is the reason i started guitar, i wanted to be like him, hes the one who inspired me to pick it up. i guess hes my version of dimebag, like i've read about the great influence dime had on a lot of you here, so yea, hes like my guitar idol that i look up to.
