Introduce me to Marduk...

...what do they sound like, best introduction album, etc.

they're pretty much raw black metal. you know, no symphonic shit.

most of the albums sound the same, but the most "brutal" is Panzer Division Marduk.

They're terribly repetitive, the only album of theirs I liked is "heaven shall burn when we are gathered".

I agree, a lot of their stuff sounds the same, but they're marginally more technical than the "Norwegian school" black metal bands.

I can send you some songs if you'd like.

panzer division marduk is probably one of there best.its really brutal.la grande danse macabre has some pretty heavy tunes .

they are very good at their old school, ultra-raw black 'n' roll. i have "those of the unlight," it's a good enough intro i guess. like i said, it's good once in a while.

Haha. Blizzard sent me a couple songs months ago. I cannot be bothered with Marduk after Metal Fest. I definitely need some Behemoth.
