Pickup installtion.

Is it just as easy as reading the directions. Could I just take it to a person that does car work and have him install it?

All it takes is a screwdriver and a soldering set. I did it myself too, its quite easy. You don't have to know anything about electronics, just make sure the cables of your new pickups are connected the same way as your old ones.

not likely. Unless offcoarse your screwing your pickup with the soldering iron itself, but ofcoarse you only let your iron touch the wires, would you?

and whats happening with the tone pot? do you also just solder the black wire to the bottom of the tone pot?

Those are ground, just solder the wires to the back of the pot, with the tone pot you are soldering one of the outer prongs to the back of the pot.

if you dont feel comfortable installing the EMG's your self, have a guitar shop put them in. I gave the my stalk pups in exchange for the installation, so i didnt pay anything, most shops do this type of trade.
