Hmmm, my first real poem in like...months.

Sink into the Darkness

Time is healed as the sun kisses the Earth
Below the sky where the darkness begins
Fading the frivolous light into a shirne
Made fresh when the evening cloaks rise

In the darkness a new world fogs above
Black against the moonlite winteresque
A dagger in the sky about the wind
Slowly rising beyond the canopy of trees

I can feel the triumph of darkness
As it surrounds my body with intensity
Breeding itself within my hate
Ever so slightly caressing my actions

Here, time is still, a becon to the void
An expression of dreams and I breathe
And sigh with a theme of great blindness
Languished and sustained into an abyss

Taking the first dive into my darkest place
The most dreary cave of my insanity
Black, but dimly shaded with a bleary red
Opened wide the gates, I plunged in...

You know what the coolest thing was about reading this? Hearing SpongeBob da-da-ing the Blue Danube Waltz while I was reading it.

Lots of imagery as usual. You did have a typo with 'beacon,' but I know that was accidental. I liked the element of madness and this was much better than that one piece you did as far as content and style.

Nice job. Is it a band piece?
