That really is my car, I just don't have a digital camera to get a picture onto my computer and post it. It's a company car, for which my firm (I'm an accountant) gets tax breaks.

87 Honda Civic Wagon with totally blasted looking paint, cardboard speakers and a couple rodents under the hood. Blue. Just keep below its 800 lb cargo limit and it owns you all.

Yeah I could do 100 km per $5 NZD so yeah.
as for it being small it didn't matter, I could burn just about ANY car off the lights and if there was corners, then there was NO way they could beat me, Power to weight ration + the mini's godly handling.

I would be happy to own a car ... I really don't care what it is for a car (everything but not a pink one), if it drives it is ok.
But a car is too expensive.

Haha, you guys will believe anything! I can't even drive! And the tax breaks for cars over Ł12,000 are minimal to say the least. Anyway, I doth jest in excess.
Needless to say, if I did earn a quarter of a million a year the DB9 would be sitting in my drive raring to go. [Dreams]Maybe if I get made a partner at PriceWaterhouse Coopers[/Dreams]

I tell you, in the morning I had my practical driving license test I was so fucking nervous. I couldn't eat anything and I got totally sick. But if you passed the test you feel very very great . You should know this feeling!

Doesn't matter that much to be honest - we drive on the left but one could still have a left-hand drive car if one wished.

BTW, my car is a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3. It's about as stock as they get, and then some. It does have expensive waterproof seat covers, and custom piece of shit window tint.
The only pic I have of it is a photoshopped one from when I first got it.
I already attached it to my post in the Official Photobook, and it won't let me do it here. I'm too lazy to figure out how to link to that particular pic, (if at all possible), plus it's almost 03:00 a.m. I'm gonna go catch some fucking Zs.

not yet, and you know what sucks, i ran it into a ditch yesterday, i was going 40 in a 35 area, came up to a 15-20 MPH turn, tryed slowing down, but slowing while going downhill in an old car with shitty brakes is mildly difficult, and the brakes locked up on me, and i careened into a ditch, the front right took all the impact, the bumper is all shoved in, and the wheel fender dealy is a bit bent.

i used to drive a pagani zonda c12, racing model. totally owned. i would drive past it with all 530hp being put to good use. i would drag other people off at the lights and leave them kilometres behind in my smoky way. could it do 300km/h, you say? it was just getting started at 300.
everyone would turn their head to see little old me in a sick, awesome, fine piece of blue italian prestige motoring, the elite modern supercar. those were the days when i would just drive that thing around all day to look super sexy.
then i woke up and it was time to get ready for school.

153 per month, 12 months in a year, 3 years. lets do the math.
153 x 12 x 3 = 5508. not 8000.

we get those supercharged 3.8's in at work all the time for tune ups and stuff.... FAST!
I always work on the cop cars when they're in for service they have the 3.8 engines in them too.
My mustang can do about 240km/h.... not bad for an older car

Hmmmmmm
I was the only 15 yr old in Highschool with my own car.
That car has taken me to over a dozen concerts.....3 yrs of highschool.....endless parties......work for 3 years.....I moved out on my own and got my own place at 18......the car has been AMAZING and runs perfectly.
It had 145,000 when I got it and now has 198,000........I'd say I have "owned" it instead of being "owned" BY it my confused friend.
It's paid off now and is working well for me.

ahyeah the z71, those are huge-ass trucks!
I wouldn't get a focus or escort, they're small and damn slow (unless you get a focus RS or escort rs2000 or cosworth..)
what's a malibu and sabre?

First Car was a 1976 Ford pinto orarge puke color, wagon, at age 16, bought for 57 cents USD from a farmer who's son was gone to college. The thing had no floors, from rusting, or heating, but ... the son had replaced the engine with a V-6 with a 4 burrow carb. It was a beast with power but no floors. So many parties
Second car was a 81' VW rabbit for $300. Bitching fun car, but lacked the perfomance of the pinto. It didn't last long but there were some parties that would have made the current elective White House reps wants access
MY brother-in-law nearly killed me cause he thought I was trying to rat him for $20 at the end too. He was a fucking insecure bitch anyway.
3rd was a 87' Mazda 323 for $600. It was doomed from the begining. GF killed it in 2nd gear cause she was pissed. I was at home but got a phone call that it was pouring oil out the bottom She later nearly shot me with my own gun.
After that I bought my moms old 86' Chevy Celebrity for $300. The thing didn't have a strat edge on it. The thing had been in many accidents and even had duct-taped tractor tail and head lights. It had 1 working windsheild wiper, on the passager side, and a gas tank that couldn't be filled above 1/3 without leaking. The ultimate golopy.
After that I joined tha Navy.
Now I have a 2 Toyota's
A 1999 Rav4 SUV for the family
and a white 1992 MR2 twin turbo back engine for some badass fun. looks like this

There was a sigh on the car, For Sale. I walked up and asked how much. Dude said what do you have in your pocket. I pulled out 57 cents and I drove it away fast.
Sounds unreal but it happened.

Mr2's are good drifters but the later ones are porkers compared to the original MR2, but if you can get the power out of the engine then they are fucking mint, but they are overweight for their engine.

That is why the engine is in the back and they are rear wheel drive. Better balance, plus mine is turbo. I got it to 140+mph one day and got scared. I'm a bitch, but I have a real fear of dieing in a car. I blow most japs out, even with their mods. I have lost many races against moded US cars though.

thats a bit insane, no floors and an exploding rearend end
if anyones got some cool driving near-death stories to tell id like to hear them
heres mine:
my band did a tour last year and we drove a 86 toyo delivery van, and due to lack of knowledge on the rocky mountains we planned a route thru idaho, south thru half the state to boise on a short notice show request by some guy who happened to look up the label site and saw a day off near his area. we drove up and down mountains that went at 8 degrees downwards for as long a 7-8 miles, many mountains bigger than anything on the east coast, at one point the guitarist of my band remarked that the brakes are far too weak for us to possibly stop or slow down, so we were left to bailing down these mountains with only the runaway truck ramps to consider if anything happened, some time before we accidently tried to drive over little bighorn mountain with the logic that it was "little", noone actually considered the size of the mountain stated in small font on the map, we must of went down that thing like ten miles after giving up going up and camping for the night, this is the only time in my life when i actually considered the real possibility of being eaten alive by a wild animal, needless to say that was the stupidest thing ever. it was our first tour, which is always a nightmare so im told
tommorow im going to look at a 85 chevy van fixer upper for another tour hopefully late summer, i have the flu now but im going anyway coz, im sooo sick of taking the bus to and from work, which probably had a hand in why my head feels like its just about to explode every time i cough

The real crazy part was that the suspention was just hell and at every bump sparks would emit from the bottom of my car and you could see them thought the floor. I had a real chance of starting a fire and maybe even exploding at times. Everyone loved it
I acually had a few dates in that car. Once it started raining and I drove thought a standing puddle on the side of the road and it came up thugh the floor and soaked my date. She screamed so loud that I nearly ran off the road.

stupid car stories, does spinning your crappy honda civic out at 110 kph (around 70 mph) in a residential area when it is wet count? cause I did that, I missed 3 parked cars and a house, and only blew out one tire.

NZBMD, i think that would have quite a chance of being one of those stories.
a few times when driving with my cousin and his mate, his mates one of the best, and most aggressive, drivers i've ever seen. the way he drives is like taking a grogan through the eye of a needle, he will drive in his fucking massive toyota 4wd/ute through gaps of 10cm on each side at 50kmh.
one time my smart arse cousin was showing me how to drift, wasted on half a bottle of black jim beam, and powerslid around a corner at about 90kmh. IN A SCHOOL ZONE. AT 2:45 PM.
