Anyone listen to Black Metal here? I listen to Mayhem, Gorgoroth, and Dimmu Borgir  What about you guys? Any other great Black Metal bands you guys recommend? \m/

There's already a few black metal threads made. I only know a few black metal bands but I like Emperor and some Darkthrone.

Eww. Gorgoroth.
I tend to stay away from some black metal because of the fact that the musician's ideology and other bullshit get in the way of the music. Example: Dissection. Jon is a moron.

Black Metal is my fav. Genre. Emperor,Immortal,Burzum,Mayhem and Dissection(if you consider them black) are my fav. I don't like Darkthrone that much,production isn't a big thing to me but I hate that fuzzy shit.
Oh and check out Lord Belial and Dragonlord(thrash/black)

Yeah, bands like Darkthrone, Dark Funeral, etc. are good, but bands like Dark Funeral need to cut out the bullshit image.
I seriously doubt that Lord Ahriman dresses like that around the house...

Yeah I know where your getting at...some of the stuff Mayhem and Gorgoroth do were insane and crazy ....I think everyone knows the story of Mayhem (singer commits suicide, drummer make necklace out of the bone fragments of the singers skull, guitarist eats singers brains, bassist kills guitarist and is arrest and police found dynamite and a plan to blow up a church in bassist's(I think) house,etc.). But the music is great though.
