plagiarism
so what do i do in the instance of plagiarism?
www.taborama.com has a few of my stolen burzum tabs, but they've literally copied the entire thing, including my name and e-mail address. i would complain to the webmaster but for the e-mail and name thing, do i have a case? i only want my tabs onto THIS website, and aussie tabs onto a website me and milo are thinking of doing but that's a different story. i'm pretty fucking pissed off, should i have a bitch to the webmaster? |

The same thing has happened to me at Taborama but since you have the accredition for your work there isn't a lot that you can do unfortunately. The good thing is that once they 'copy' your tab and post it there they very rarely come back and get any updates that you may have done. In other words, the best place to get your tabs is still here. I think they still have the 7-string versions of my Nile tabs there, haha!

You might e-mail them and ask to take down your tabs. Some webmasters do this, but most don't.
I'm afraid there's little you can do about this...

Yeah, but as I said, if you only post updates here then the best version will always be at Metaltabs. Hence Metaltabs > Taborama.

People stole and hijacked a lot of my older stuff years ago, all over the place. The great thing was that most of them took out my name, so now those shitty tabs have been updated and those losers are stuck looking bad with my old shit.
The bad thing is that some people left the headers alone, meaning I have tabs on websites that I would like to see disappear.

we do. unless Nomad typed up some really fine print saying Metaltabs own any tabs it gets then you own whatever you write and put your name on. if you wanted, you could one day demand all your tabs be taken off the site and Nomad would have to ablidge.
