mesa mark III or 50 caliber
Ive had several amps and havent tried these 2. Anyone have any comments?

yeah, I think most mark series sound boring. those .50 cal's I played where all pretty good but not too special, not all mark series are like this, I haven't played the older ones or the special editions and stuff. only played a regular one and it bored me.
I liked the subway-rocket reverb thing better, its only 20w tube with a small speaker but it busts out some neat tones.

i almost bouht a mark III blue stripe simul class with all the mods... one of the best high gain amps i've ever heard... the notes sounded so sweet, tight but still loose, compressed but still dynamic, the notes just leaped from under my fingers.
pain in the ass to eq though...
the mark IV's are pretty good too.
