Anyone been getting into this stuff as much as I have lately? I'm talking about bands like Liturgy, Goratory, Brodequin, GutRot, Psychofagist, Digested Flesh. Anyone here got any other reccomendations?

I would just like to note that I just picked up Goratory's "Rice On Suede" today. I was listening to the title track, holy fucking hell theres some talent behind every instrument here. Fucking hell those drums are fast.

Yeah it is. tBDM is fucking boring, whereas GutRot are fucking grind blaster. The drummer is wasting his talent with tBDM, few drummers can stack up to what he played on "Incestual Rimjob" and "Cock Snot Covered Twat", or any of the songs for that matter.

Yeah he is a really tight drummer, and when I did the scratch tracks with him he didn't have to re-do anything. So all of the songs are one take played all the way thru with no errors. I think it's cool that he's out doing what he loves...touring. |
