help please

Hello, i recently started playing guitar and i bought a behringer starter pack that included a v tone guitar and a behringer v-tone gm108
the problems is when i play songs it just make a little "plink" so im wondering is it the settings that is wrong or do i need something else or whats the problem

ps: i dont know a shit about guitars and i dont know anyone that plays it or anything so i cant ask them

could you be a little more specific on the "plink" noise? is it at constant intervals or pretty random? does it always accure when you do something specific? also is it from the amp or guitar?

what i mean is like "plink" when i play something making the songs sound like a midi or something like that and its from the amp

they have crap pickups running through an underpowerd amp. so your gonna have very little sustain and probably a bit distorted from what i know about starter kits.
