hey how is it going? um my drummer and I have another dilema, we have our alesis dm5 drum module and we use it alot, but we are berly starting to play venues, and we have used drum modules to record, and once to play at a backyard party, but we are a bit unexperienced when it comes to using them at shows at clubs and venues and things of that nature. my question is, does any one know how to hook these up at clubs through the house pa? how do you do it? were do you do it? and how many cables does it require, i am not asking about the triugggers becouse we have that down, but i just dont know how we would go about hooking the drum module up at the club.

i think you just need one cable from the stereooutputs through the mixboard.
i have no expierience with that, but I think thats all.

have a bunch of cables and ask the sound guy of that evening.

well, I was in this band where the drummer had a module and triggered his kick and what he did is connected the stereo outputs to the PA MIxers inputs. Some other PA operators even mic'd the small amp for the module. So there are many ways u can do stuff. Just ask the professional about what to do. Trust me, those guys will be glad to help u out, thats why they are in the business.

awsome yea, i just didnt know if there was something special around the drum area to hook it up, ive been to alot of shows and the bands were looking for it, then they found it, and pluged it in, but yea ill just try and ask the sound guy the night of the show.
