New Green Carnation.
It's called The Quiet Offspring, and will be released later this month. I have a couple songs from A Blessing In Disguise and they are pretty good. The clips from the new album kind of sound like Amorphis, which I don't really like. A secondary point of this thread is to find out what the Light of Day, Day of Darkness album is like, since I haven't heard anything from it. It's supposed to one long 60 minute song.

Light of Day, Day of Darkness is my all time favorite album. Its fucking amazing, and anyone who doesn't agree, should sit back and re-evaluate their life.
And genre? I'd put them in regular metal. I can't place them in anything else.

Whatever you consider Tuonela since that's the only Amorphis I have.
"Crushed To Dust" is kind of metal, and it's a fucking kick ass song. That's off the second CD. I guess I'll put Light of Day, Day of Darkness on my ever-growing list. Kalmah, what genre would you place this CD in?

BUUUUZZZ. "Crushed to Dust" is off their third release. And btw, I've got their new work. I won't spoil it, but LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE ALBUM BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR FINAL DECISION. The first 3 songs are a bit off the norm for them, but it gets better, trust me.
And I wasn't calling LoD, DoD the best album ever, but I was making the point that if you don't like it, you need to stop listening to music.
