speaking of RG Ibanez and pickups, can anyone recomend some good pickups for a 7-STRING IBANEZ? i play death metal, mostly oldschool, but i also like Nile and berzerker cattle decap and origin, righnt now i have a pretty decent tone, but i want to entirely switch my pickups becouse they are acticng stupid, and they arent worth fixing, i would just rather get new pickups, i was thinking of getting some dimarzio's or semore duncan, but i dont know im on kind of a budget. any recomendations?

Well, Origin uses 81s. I love EMGs, so you won't find me not reccomending them.

I haven't, but if they sound anything like a normal 81, theyre bound to kick ass.

dont get a 707... trust me.
My DImarzio EVO blows it away. Now, getting an EMG will require extra routing... is it worth it?? I think not.. especially when their are plenty of passives that are just as good or better than and EMG.
P.S. Duncan will require you to cut the mouting ears ina triangle shape..

that sound good to me, all i can afford right now are dimarzio's i know a guy who has em, and he will sell them to me for 45$ each, i never heard anything good about emg's for seven strings, i am just gonna go with the dimarzio's awsome.
