recording programs
im wanting to get some good recordings so i got a "shure" mic, made for recording amps, with a stand and all, and im runing it into my GNX3 (which sucks) so i need a new recording module (or what ever there called)
theres these portible ones and ones you load onto a computer, and i dont know which are, better, easyer, higher quality, affordible. the guy at GC wanted to sell me some $300 progarm, but that seems like BS to me.
Any programs, recording divices you guys recomend?
sorry if this has already been coverd, i couldnt find anything on it.

Cubase and Pro Tools are both used by the pro's and can be found all over the internet for download.
Of course that illegal though

i use cool edit pro 2.0 u can find that anywhere on the net (or on kazaa, soulseek etc) and it works pretty easy

Adobe took over cool edit, it's now called "Adobe Audition" you can find it on Kazaa easily, it's a got a few new features I think. Btw, makes ure you get the 1.5 version.
