info on this goddam bass
hey ive been searching for info on my bass guitar since i picked it up secondhand and fender/squier hare hopeless when it comes to identifying its products so heres a pic of it
any info would be nice

Looks like a Fender American P Bass (rather, the Squier equivilent)with a custom neck/headstock.

Use google to find pages of Fender and with a bit lucky you will find your bass with some informations.

Hmm its hard to beleive its a fender squire, judging by the logo and headstock it looks like a copy of it, by say... a taiwan or japanese manufacterer?

Yeah, but thats not the real squire logo, it could be a rip off/copy of it, people do that you know..

thats not the picture of mine (mines red) and i got it second hand from a guitar shop for 300 aud
the neck says its a squier made by fender and everytime i google the serial number google doesnt seem to find any info on it

If i was you i wouldnt be too worried about what it is or where it came from, just play it! does it sound good? active pickups?

i've never seen anything like it either.
try harmony-central.com and click on the bass/guitar review section of the site.
you should be able to find something there

the bass sounds amazing (better than any squier ive ever tried) though its onlt got passive pickupsand the necks amazingly playable
(Btw morbid guitar thanks for the site)
