vader cabinets
i looked for about 5 or 6 pages and did not find any thread like this so here it goes, have you heard of these? vader cabinets they are new, i was thinking about getting one a few months ago, but you know...things changed... any way, they are mostly for metal and stuff, and they are very affordable imo, they look pretty mean too, has anyone tried one or heard of one being tried? they seem pretty amazing the 4x12 cab is 8ohm 480watt handling, i think thats crazy, but these were built for metal, i know for sure Suffocation uses these, also pig destroyer, and vital remains, they arent to big yet, but i think they will be pretty poppular soon, i talked to the guy that makes these and the price for the 4x12 was amazing, 500$ direct through him, for now, thats way awsome i think, i am realy considering getting one of these, if its good enough for suffocation, then its good enough for me!!

"The Vader 412 is the most powerful 412 ever made! Most of your top of the line cabinet manufacturer's highest power rating is only 300 watts. Using Eminence Legends, Vader Cabinets come with a standard power rating of 480 watts!! You absolutely will not find a stronger cabinet built to handle more than these!! Whether you play metal, rock, blues, country, jazz, or whatever, crank it up and this cabinet will answer accordingly. "
haha, what a bullshit salespitch... i have a 4x12 that handles 600w, so what? i'm sorry but that's just retarded... and in a way false advertising. just because their cabs can handle 480w while a marshall 1960a can only handle 300w they expect people to beleive it's better? honestly, how many people need a cab that can handle over 300w anyways? even me, i'm using an 800w poweramp, i've used cabs with less handling than 300w and i was still able to reach gigging levels....
i've never played one so i can't comment on the sound, but the way they advertise there stuff is very... how do you say? "krank-ish"... rather than tell you what makes their cabs so kick ass, they just give you a bunch of wattage-talk bullshit that has nothing to do with anything.

hell ya, terrance was using a peavy XXX but he normaly uses an ampeg, an awesome ampeg head, cant remember witch one but, he rents gear when they tour, i dont blame him. he uses 2 of these cabs, and a noise supressor pedal, i am suprized that he uses a simple setup like that, and it still sounds badass.. the other guitarist uses rack stuff, i dont know what though, he also uses 2 of these cabs.

yea i was talking about suffocation guitarists' and terrance still uses ampeg heads, but for some reason he was using the peavy head that night, i know for a fact that when they tour he rents his amp heads, not sure why he rented a peavy though, or he might have also just bought the peavy and uses that to tour with, i am sure his ampeg is precious to him, its precious to me, and i dont even own it. man they sounded so good the other night. still not over it. also yea, that whole 480watt thing, im sure there is more powerful ones then that, now that i think about it, but these things are getting pretty popular with the metal bands, i mean they sounded realy good to me.

i tried those speakers once, i liked them, but it wasnt my rig, but im sure it would have sounded fantastic with my stuff, i tried out a cab that had some and i was playing a shitty old jackson guitar, not even a good one, a realy cheap one with stock pickups, but it sounded realy good, i dont know if i would like 2x15 cabinet, thats seems like it would be a bass amp, i mean i dont need that much bass for my guitar, i tune to A and i have a seven string, its got enogh bass for me, sounds pretty nile'ish witch i like. i am only interested in checking out one of these 4x12 cabs.

i wonder why they didnt make a slant cab and a straight cab, version of these cabs, i noticed at the suffo show they had their two cabinets each, side by side, witch isnt bad, but it wouldnt be a bad thing to stack the cabinets.

stacking cabs looks more intimidating. He uses an Ampeg Vh-140C, which kicks major ass. Oh, and Guy Marchais licks nuts.

Yeah, and now he's trying to replace one of my all time favorite guitarists, Doug Fucking Cerrito, and thats why I hate him, because he can never stack up to the greatness that was DESPISE THE SUN!

old thread that I started i know..but...now that vader cab have become a bit more popular as i predicted...i noticed they have alot more artists and stuff on their page..also..they have added a 2x12 cab...its pretty cheap..does anyone think its a good investment..i am deeply considering buying one....i know the 4x12 are good but i cant afford one right now..and i wanna run my LANEY AOR100 through a nice new cab...right now i have an old oversized crate cabinet...and i kinda like it but im not 100% satisfied with it.....anybody think..it would be a good change...from my 4x12 to a VADER 2X12??

2x12's can kick ass! I still have yet to meet a cab that matches my modded Genz Benz, and I paid 350$ for it second-hand.

vader seem to make good cabs, they have a 2x15 model which is 600 watts.
thats just fucking rediculous but it sure does look nice, i think i would want to get one of these cabs as i want a lot of bottom end sound.

How exactly is your GB modded? It's the cab I plan on getting once I decide to get a rack or head.
And yeah, Cerrito would whip Guy Marchais' ass anyday, but hell he was busy when Suffo reformed so I guess I don't mind.

From what I know is that Suffo is endorsed by Peavey now. You can check Peaveys website and Terrance and Guy are on the artist page. Yeah those Ampeg 140ch heads are awsome sounding but they dont make them anymore so maybe thats why they chose to go with a company that can give them anything at anytime. Maybe he is just going to use it for recording.
Maybe he needs to find another one.
