Help
Ok guys i'm having problems with my pedals. I just got NS-2 by boss and CS-3 and my MT2 by boss as well. I used the NS-2 in the studio and it was wicked, whenever i stoped playing i cut out my sound. But for some reason threw my setup at home it does shit all.
help......

the noise gate is important that you set it up properly.
ok first, make sure all your other pedals are in its loop.
next you need to decide if you want reduction/mute.
reduction: pedal on is noise gate. pedal off is no noise gate.
mute: pedal on is noise gate. pedal off is mute.
threshold is the level at which it starts to have effect. the higher it is, the more it will do.(somebody may be able to explain that better)
decay is how quickly the reduction affects the silence.
if you have very heavy distortion its reccomended you have threshold at 5 oclock. and decay probably at 9. make sure you have all things in the loop.

i find it's best to have it right before the gain source. whether it be distortion pedal or the amp it's self.
