Taking off a Tremolo
I play a BC Rich with a fixed bridge for nearly three years, now my girlfriend is going to buy me a Jackson Warrior, with Tremolo, and I dont really want or need a wang bar and i was wondering how i can make it easier to replace strings or replace the actual bridge with some kind of fixed bridge system?

save yourself the trouble and tell her to buy a different guitar?
that might sound ungratious, but wouldn't it be more ungratious to imediatly rape the new guitar your nice gf buys for you?

Yeh, its perfetc for me.. becuase I have that backup rg7620 which right now is being used as a hardtail.. but every now and then I like to play it with the floyd.. the tremol-no would make it easy to switch.

get a different guitar, or embrace the wonders of tremolo

My girlfriend is cool about my guitar playing, comes to our shows, listens to our new CD's, etc etc, she likes some relatively ok metal bands Bloodbath, Obituary, Arch Enemy, Slayer, etc, (Its not like she jams out to Prostitute Disfigurement or anything but she is pretty cool) and she plays bass
