Dimarzio Drop Sonic

Anyone ever play out of one of these bitches? just wondering I am debating between this and the X2N for my next geetar, I love my X2N, but I want to just hear some other pick ups, Its supposedly specifically for Drop D but they say low tunings and shit too i tune somewhat low nothing that hasnt been done before (B or A mostly) and i was wondering would this be any good, I havent found any place in my general vicinity with the Drop Sonic pick up that actually ahs good amps to try it through

There's a drop sonic 7 string on ebay, would it be a better choice than a Dimarzio X2N-7???

Anyone know?

EDIT: Which one would sound better in basswood?

Well it beats another thread on it...
I may end up throwing an X2N in my RG370 cause I'm using lower tunings now. I'll just put my Tone Zone in my other Ibanez.

Maybe that would be a good idea...?
