I watched it last night and i saw the scene again like 2 hours ago. They actually played for a while in the movie. It was pretty funny when Jim Carrey was up there pretending to be doing the vocals. I bet that Cannibal Corpse just happend to be playing that club during the filming of the movie.

That was a great movie, and Cannibal Corpse just added to the hilarity of it. It isn't really funny now, but before I got into death metal, I found it rather amusing.

Plus even if he wasent.. they dont just drag a film crew into into a club and start taping

I took that whole discussion of Jim Carrey being a real CC fan half-heartedly, until 'BLS' re-instated it again. He's a REAL fan?  Whoa.......I wonder what other musical tastes he has. When he lived in my town as a child, he had some form of A.D.D, so maybe that contributed to his development in metal?

Not lyrically, anyway. Honestly, though, as far as humor goes, I can't imagine how somebody could pick CC over Carcass. There has never been a death metal band with more hilarious or entertaining lyrics than Carcass. Just read the lyrics to "Inpropagation" or "Feast on Dismembered Carnage"... fucking brilliant.
