amp help
hey, i was thinking of buying a 5150 combo. What are some models that are similar to the 5150? Im looking for something around the same price range, and something that will kick ass.

hmm well the 5150 is no longer in production, you can still find em used (just saying)
i would say the 6505(?) is basically the same amp(not sure, anyone confirm?)

The 6505 is the same as the 5150, exactly the same, except for the number. EVH had legal rights to the name, but peavey had the rights to the design.

Shops are still selling 5150's around here,i spose they have to until they get rid of them,and get the 6150's.

?? They ranamed it the "6505" ...
and if you want a 5150 buy one, no amp sounds like a 5150 besides a 5150. That the case with all amps. Not like their expensive or anything.
