Theres lots of pretty easy songs to learn off of Metallicas Kill em All album, but thats what i listened to when i first started playing guitar and i didnt learn songs because they were easy, i learned them because i wanted to.

i started on sepultura, motorhead, stuff like that.
there are some very easy songs by marilynmanson or ratm.
so long as you learn the error of your ways and refuse to play them once you have learned, that is.

AC/DC songs are easy to learn. I dont learn on them much...Hardly ever, but they are really easy.
Metallica songs are really good to learn off. I try and learn alot from them.
Black Sabbath - Iron Man
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
Metallica - Fade to Black (little harder to learn from, but not too bad)

Amon Amarth - Death in Fire (entire song...only part that might sound odd is the tapping)
Amon Amarth - For the Stabwounds in our Back (entire song)
At the Gates - Blinded by Fear (only hard part is probably the 2nd or 3rd riff because of how you are suppose to do the palm muting)
Megadeth - Wake Up Dead (main riff and end riff are nice)
Megadeth - Peace Sells (main riff is easy and fun)
Old Man's Child - Black Seeds on Virgin Soil (guitar solo can be hard because it is fast, also intro is a little odd to play (acoustic part I mean))
yeah...good stuff...
