i just saw this band on blue peter.
they played kind of punk stuff,
they were tight enough,
and the guitarist did a pretty good solo when you consider that they are all ten years old!.

for 10 years old its pretty funny to listen too. I wish I started playing guitar when I was ten. the voice is funny on the audio, its really a kid. the instruments aren't played too well if you ask me, especially the drums are a joke.

Ok, for 10 years old I have to give it to them, that is something.

the solo on the audio thing sounds like something taken out of a lesson book I show to kids, which are a bit older then them. So its nothing special but for a young kid, its impressive that he can play it.

I wonder if their parents are those pushy kinda fellows.

Pretty damn lame...I can't take it seriously...punk kids? playstation 2? wtf...It reminds me of those little kid videos on the little kid tv channels. To happy...way to happy. Solo wasn't very impressive...poopy.

its actually more impressive that they got as far as they did.
its one thing to play guitar that well at that age and yeah ok its not that special. ive heard virtuoso classical guitarists that young(dressed in a suit with a nylon string reading sheet music) they have pushy parents.

but to write a song, have a band and perform it live on national television prime time takes a bit more than that.
it takes a hell of a lot of dedication to have a gigging band no matter what age you are.

any way they are better than a lot of 18-24yr old local bands here.

I don't like it at all. I have to say it very much sucks. But considering they are knee-height ickle todlers, thats pretty good.

i would be surprised if they had pushy parents because they were interviewed on tv, and they werent shy, and they seemed to be enjoying it.
if you ask a 10yr old kid with pushy parents anything about what they are doing,
you get a similar response to if you ask them
"do you think the 14th century attitudes of the russian sociology have influenced modern-day architectural beliefs"
they kind of shrug and mutter "dunno"

do you remember the first time you got a band? the first time you jammed with someone else? the first time you wrote a song and practised it and performed it infront of people?

ok so yeah i could probably have played that at ten yrs old,
but it took me untill i was 14/15 to write a song, and 16 before i actually wrote a good one. and it took me four years (17) work to get a band good enough to do a gig.

i can only think of micheal jackson and donny osmond who were performing music at a young age, and they both had older brothers to do the hard work for them. and they probably didnt write their own songs at that age.

I agree with you, but we can't make assumptions on how/why they make their music, we can only guess.

My guess is that their fathers/brothers whatever write music, and they just perform it. But that's just me.

Edit: Well the first time I had a band was at 11, but it was really quite shite - and I didn't play guitar, however I did write some shitty songs. Right now I am however, organising a real band, but thats a project in the making.
