I was wondering if anybody has heard of a Japanese band called X-Japan.
Back when they started they were just called X but then had to add the Japan part of their name in when they wanted to go international. If you haven't ever heard of them, I'd suggest that you check them out. Although, some of their stuff can be hard to find.

Power metal I believe.

I'm don't know a whole lot about the different types of metal. But, I guess you might be able to classify them as speed metal. I'm not exactly sure what power metal is, so they might or might not be able to be classified as power metal.

I'v heard of them, my friend is obsessed with Jap. Metal of all sorts.
