Starting to read Too High by Corson Hirschfeld. I saw it in a book store and on the cover it said fans of Carl Hiassen would love it, so I bought it.

Is 1984 worth reading? I've heard many good things about it, but is it just another overrated book?

Of course it's worth reading. Quick, symbolic, Orwellian (lololol).

1984 could very well be required reading before being allowed to vote in my, ahaha, book. No but seriously, it's not a pleasant read on the whole, but there's a lot of high quality pressed into a relatively small number of pages and it's well worth the effort.

I think it is alright, really overrated but still worth the read. Not really anything super mind opening. I liked Animal Farm a lot more.

Picked up a copy of Infinite Jest. Been on a David Foster Wallace kick as of late.

Last book I attempted to read was House of Leaves. Very interesting bookm but it definitely isn't a pick up and read book.

Just got a copy of Peter Sotos' Proxy. It made me feel quite ill just reading the first few pages. I don't think I'm gonna finish the book.
