Line 6 Spider II 30 settings wanted (please, someone help me with this!)
Ok, I was wondering if anyone could give me some settings for the Spider II 30 watt. Now, before someone says "first of all, you'll never get a sound like that with an amp that small", I already know that. I just want sounds that are LIKE the original, right? Ok, anyway...I'm looking for a Metallica "Harvester Of Sorrow"/"...And Justice For All" clean setting, a Megadeth "The System Has Failed" distortion setting, a 'Tallica "...AJFA"/live '88/'89 distortion setting, a Dismember distortion setting, and a Cannibal Corpse "The Wretched Spawn" distortion setting. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

well you're not gonna get those exact tones, I've played the spiders a couple of times and I didn't like them much.
as for those sounds, you can't ever get them that specific but messing around with your settings yourself should get you in their regions, just let your ear do the work because I'm pretty sure no-one knows the exact settings for those tones. maybe you can try some line6 forum or something, at least I'm sure they're all around the 'metal' setting, the 'insane' setting is pretty useless IMO, too noisy and it doesn't sound like a good hi-gain sound to me. Just mess about for a whie, I can't tell you the exact settings either but I'm sure you can get somewhere near your desired tones if you try for yourself.
