Onyx Custom Craft?
Anyone heard of Onyx custom craft?
This is my first guitar and I bought it second hand. Sounds mint, looks great (except for a few dings) but i cant find anything about them.

I had an Onyx. T'was one of the best looking guitars i'd ever played i'd give it that, it was black and had stickers that i'd made on it, and I especially loved the headstock on it, how it was pointed... but it sounded like shit. It was too twangy for my liking and distortion was just out of the question.
It was my first guitar though, and I wish I still had it so I could hang it up on the wall like a trophy type thing. I learn many riffs on that thing.
Don't mind me, your mentioning of an onyx just brought back memories, that's all... it was a love-hate relationship between me and that guitar. Hehehe, man I must seem quite weird...

Lol, well its good to see someone else had one, i picked this up for $300 (New zealand $), with a peavy amp and 5m lead. Thats like $200 US i think. So i was pretty stoked. Though i did open her up to find most of the wiring is blue-tacked, not soldered... I have to get around to that actually.

dude I got mine on ebay only 70 bucks au, the only thing wrong with it was a bit of paint missing that they'd covered with a sticker... i ripped that off and stickerified it myself and it looked kickass. didnt get an amp with it though but i got two leads and two guitar straps.
ebay kicks ass.
hey how you like the sound of it? I didnt reckon it's too crash hot coz it didnt suit any of the riffs I was writing, but meh.

I think it sounds quite good, but the effects pedal is definately worth having. The sound goes a bit random sometimes but im sure thats because of the shit job of re-wiring someone did lol.
Ill probably buy another guitar this year anyway. But yeah, it was great to learn on.
