neways, as a part of the magazine, they had asked kerry king to just show them how to play certain parts of certain songs and how to nail them properly. they also had it tabbed in the magazine. its a recording of kerry showing the certain parts.

i thought those of you trying to learn slayer songs (like me) would find it interesting. heck those who already kno how to play em may find em interesting.

yea £5 is quite expensive but as im a slipknot fan as well as a slayer fan, i thought it was well worth it and its still a good read.

i like the video, helped me out loads on mandatory suicide and angel of death and its just cool seeing kerry play :P

oyea, if your wondering why his tone aint great, its beacuse the magazine had supplied him with a Line 6 Pod XT for the recording so its not the usual balls out tone we're used to.

i dunno, their a metal band, a famous one at that, i suppose any supplier is gonna bend over backwards to meet the demand of their most valued customers. especially if they are endorsee's for their company.

They are making them again now but for nearly 10 year, I think, they didn't make a single one. They got really hard to find after a few years and the price went way up. They can be found but Slayer must have had a box of them to last the rest of there lives. The new ones cost about $500. I got a few but they are hard to find in good condition or get parts for.

yea so back on topic, when are they going to realise that a lot more people prefer kahlers and start making them more widely available?
im sure that will help lower slayers spending. but they would probably blast all the savings they made at some bar :P

lol. Slayer will always use Kahler I'm sure. Like I said, Kahler are being made again but there is some gay thing between Mr. kahler and Mr. Moser that makes it that you can only get one through Mr. Moser for like $500. Mr. Kahler is only allowing Mr. Moser to sell them and for a huge price at that. Hopefully Kahler will open the market for them again once he has a few thousand made and ready to ship, but for now only Moser can get the new ones.

Also, thanks for the comments on my Ran. It is the first Ran with a Kahler. They did a perfect job on it. Next one will have a Kahler too

so where can we get kahler trems from?
im thinking of buying one so when i do get enuf money for a custom i can use it. kinda like what you did. ebay has got a few but theyre old and worn and incomplete.
where could i get a brand new complete trem set? and whats the best model to get? is there only one type? soz i kno nuffin about kahlers except their reputation for making amazing bridges.

As far as I know this is the only place to get the New 2300 Kahler bridges.

Moser.com They are pricey though but not really different from mine. They only have a rounder frame is all now.

Anyways, ESP had NO Problems getting enough Kahlers for Jeff's personal guitars... but for the sig. they did. Ever wonder why the first run of LTD Jeff Hanneman sigs had Kahler's and the rest had floyds?? Thats also why they temp. discontinued Jeff's sig guitars.

$300 isn't bad for a Kahler bridge though. For some reason I thought the new ones were $400-500 a few mounth ago. I might be wrong though.

Yeah, ESP obviously don't have a problem getting their hands on Kahler bridges. The Jeff Hanneman sig. has a Kahler 2315. Too bad the guitar is $4000.
