If you don't like your metalmaster, i doubt the mt-2 will do much for you.

i think the mt-2 is alot better, the fact you can actually control your midrange and gain levels makes the mt-2 godly compared to the metal master imo.
why buy a cheap ass pedal that simply models a bunch of other cheap ass pedals(including the mt-2 even)?
i'm still not a fan of the metalzone, this is just in comparison to the metal master.

aaargh fuck pedals.would a bottle rocket or a guyatone metal monster sound good infront of a s.s practise amp. Will the tube sound get fucked if it goes through the solid state amp?And would they be usefull in controlling/adding gain on a tube amp moreso than the metal master or the MT2,being that these 2 pedals are analog and digital, and the bottle rocket and the guyatone are tube and hybrid?i hope that makes sense.

as a boost pedal, meaning used as an extra gain stage over your amps distortion, i'd say a tube screamer(there are a bunch of different ones) or proco rat(also many available) would be best... but for a distortion pedal i'd say something like a mesa bottle rocket or mm-x metal monster would be much better than an mt-2 or metal master... the akai shred-o-matice is also really good...
as for the turning to shit by running through a s.s. amp.. not really, it all depends on the amp.. mostly the usable headroom and how prestine the clean channel is.
