Does Jackson make a lower case brand?
OK I've been seeing these types of guitars for quite some time now. I don't know what their called but they look just like Jacksons but have a different name on them.
The following bands use them:
Immortal
Sodom
Pungent Stench (but now he uses an ESP)
Phobia
Go to Sodom's or Immortal's website and click on the pick of the guitarist or something to see what one looks like.

well jackson has charvell (their version of fenders squire i guess) but thats no charvel all i could make out was "beo..." maybe hand made guitars by someone in germany

OH ok Charvell is probably the one i'm looking for. I just thought that was a Charvell since it looked like a Jackson Kelly. LOL I thought it said Boneberry. LOL

Charvel is NOT the Squire of Jackson.. its more like the other way around. Charvel dosent make crap like Jackson.. Wayne Charvel wouldnt put his name on a guitar he wasent proud of.

yeah, the soloist are nice.
Charvel is the big brand behind Jackson. Jackson was more of an extreme side project that suddenly ran really well and outgrew Charvel. Charvel guitars are not shit. korean Jacksons are.

here, here! i'll testify to that! My charvel is only a 80's model 1 and blows any other starter quitar out of the water. Sadly i only use it to play along with anything thats in D as its my only guitar without a Floyd or an equivalent trem. |

Wayne to my knowledge has had nothing to do with Jackson/Charvel for years sold the name in the 80's, they did have japanese imports made for the last few years but they were very nice guitars.
Charvel have a Limited number of models now especially the EVH models which are their mainsellers, but they should modernise the guitars a bit ihmo.
Most import Jacksons are good guitars, the indian made ones are shitty, the js series except the js30DK.
Those gutiars that Sodom have looked like a modded jackson import KE3 witha different neck it has rounded headstock with his surname or name burnemann or something.

i don't have a guitar center where i live so i woudn't know.the only good music store is steve's and they sell some good jap model jacksons there.
