Another 'tab submission'
When you copy/paste a tab, I think that window should be only 80 characters wide. It would just make it easier, and people would not have to go back and forth if a tab is too wide... just a suggestion.

It is, isn't it? As long as the text isn't touching the right hand edge of the box, it should fit, that's what I have found.

I've never had a problem. If you use the template provided by Nomad and make sure that you don't increase the width of the tab stave you'll be fine. That's what I do.

It's not possible as far as I'm aware.
When you paste your tab check if there is an active horizontal scrollbar. The window is 80 charachters wide, so if there's one your tab has to be reformatted.
You could also 'select all' (Ctrl+A) to control which lines are too wide.
