derek, he can do everything the others can and more, such a versatile drummer
that said, Pete has more groove than derek, I love his drum work, but derek is better.

well...to be honest, my opinion(s) is based on a very limited stuff i've heard from the people you've mentioned. i dont even know who tim yeung is (although i mightve listened to his band whichever it is)...pete, well, i'm not big on morbid angel, and terrorizer is well...too fast !
havent heard hate eternal but yeah nile is also fast, but i've see derek's instructional video and i know what he's capable of...so the whole thing is just a matter of elimination for me, and not much of an opinion based on their capabilities.

and about Tim, if you listen to the 1š Hate Eternal album and Decrepit Birth - ...And Times Begins , you'll see what this man is capable of!

What did your heard from Nile? Because derek did the drums on Black seeds of vegeance.
I canīt say whos better because I love dereks work on BSOV but I really dont like Hate eternal.
Tony did the In their darkend shrines? It`s my all time favourite album of all, that record rocks.
Also I love Petes drumming on Heretic and of course opening of the gates ;P .
And he has the most groove and tightness I think.
Derek did a few instructionalvideos.
I dont know how they called but you should look at emule oder something like that. |

I dont know if anyone told you but theres not supposed to be any versus threads. I picked derek but pete sandoval is insane also. But i would say the best drummer of all has to be Vitek from Decapitated.
