Weird Grief of Emerald Thing
I don't know if anyone likes this band, but on the Album "Christian Termination", there is a particular sound that I just adore and can't quite seem to duplicate efficiently. It sounds like an arrow piercing metal armor or something along those lines. In Particular, on track 5 "The Cause", after the 2:36 mark, you can hear a riff that has that weird sound in it.
I think it is acheived by swiping the pick against the strings vertically, as if to cut them. I can't pull it off effectively though.
Any advice/pointers/flaming/hints?
