How to play this chord?

Hello,

I'm in the process of learning morbid angel's god of emptiness and in my guitar pro tab, there's this chord:

x
5
x
x
7
8

And I can't see how to play it, that's to say how to mute D & G strings.
Could anyone help?

place your second finger (up yours) on the 5
place your third finger (ring) on the 7
place your fourth finger (pinky) on the 8

then mute the rest of the strings with your first finger.

I would do the same except use the index to hold down the five and mute the two in the middle with the middle finger. You don't need to mute the high E (or whatever tuning it is) string.

E (**********mute with side of hand******)//This might naturally happen
B (**********mute with side of first finger**)
G 5 (first finger)
D ( **********mute with middle finger*****)
A 7 (ring finger)
E 8 (pinky)

Now that I'm looking at it, it is basically a Major 3rd Interval with an added octave. This is an alternative way to play it...

E
B
G
D 10 Pinky
A 7 First
E 8 Middle finger

'Hope this helps

That's not even the chord. You shouldn't have to mute the high strings because you can just not play them at all.

Okay, now I see my mistake

I thought it was a C being played on the 5th fret, it was the fifth fret of the B string. Sorry my mistake, but you can still do what I posted earlier...just move your index finger over to the adjacent string (the b). Or play

X index or pinky
X index or pinky
9 pinky
X index
7 index
8 middle

Just move your one finger over, no big deal
