Amp Cut Out
I have a MG100DFX Marshall amp and im having problems with something in the input jack.. my amp will cut out on me, at any level the master volume is at.. and i'll have to go up and mess around with the chord twisting it and such... is there anyway i can fix this problem... without bringing it in to a musicshop? thx in advance

It could be that the input jack is worn. If you can open the amp up (if it's a tube amp, I wouldn't recommend doing this until someone tells you what to do about the dangerous voltages in there), or just get the jack loose, and bend the "arm" that makes contact with the tip of the cable inwards, that might help.
Or it could be the cable. Or bad soldering at the input jack.

the soddering in the cord is just fucked up. resoder it if its a nice cord, or throw it away and buy a new one. it happens all the time

Turn your amp on 10 (OR 11 IF ITS COOL!) and insert the chord into the amp.. jiggle it around and see if it cuts out. Do you play sitting down? If so and your using a standard non-right angle jack then you could be shorting it.
