I don't mind King Of All Kings as a once-every-six-months listen but it does get repetitive very quickly. As a result, I more than likely wont buy their new album.

Fuck I know it will be great, they are both great bands, all really cool guys too. The only thing I worry about is Hate Eternal's bassist better step it up cause live he wasn't doing to well, but I'm optimistic Erik will make him step up.

and he didn't say heavier and slower. what he did say is "Leading on to what's going on with us right now, we are currently working on new material for our 3rd album which we will record in the late summer, hopefully with a winter 2004 release or early next year. All I can say is that fans of Hate Eternal and fans of my old material with Morbid Angel will be so very pleased, for this album has all those elements and more! The material is very diverse in an evil and heavy, dark way. Still intense, still fast, still heavy, still lots of twisted melodies" and "Everything is almost tracked and we'll begin mixing in November for a Spring 2005 release. The album has been the smoothest of my career and is pummeling! I believe it captures all the elements of the first 2 albums, but is also so much more diverse in every aspect."

My most anticipated album 2005! I don't know why everyone hated King Of All Kings, maybe the production or maybe the high pitched vocals in some songs, personally i fuckin' love it, iv owned it for over a year now and i hardly ever go a day without listening to it. I rate it higher than Conquering The Throne.

KOAK was great, I loved it, and the production was great. But, nope, I think Conquering the Throne was better.

I dug King of All Kings, but Heretic made me sad in the pants.

The music was far more intense on King Of All Kings, it was faster, more technical and had some good melody's. Conquering The Throne however has heavier and had great vox.

Conquering was good, but it was Cerrito that made it that way.

I was a little dissapointed with KOAK, got boring quickly.

I doubt I'll get the new one. And did I miss something, is Jared Anderson back in the band? or is it another bassist you're all talking about?

I heard it. The vocals sound pritty good but that fuckin riff that gets repeated through the whole song is shit.

Well, it comes out of the gate and rips your head off, and then from there on it's just the same old same old in death metal. Sorry, but unless you're a hardcore death metal fan there's not much diversity in this and really nothing very different. Erik and co. are all super talented and can riff all up and down the joint, but what it comes down to is just what I've heard a million times before

the new album cover is really, really really cool. except the antlers. those have to go. but the rest of it, ive never seen such weird colors on a death metal album.

yes. this is a very different album from KOAK. its got some weird instruments (jews harp, tribal drums) and one instrumental. also, different styles of riffing

thing is hate eternal gets boring rilli fast, it al sounds the same cuz all the harmonizing in the same way

yea. it sounds nothing like KOAK. production wise, it sounds much more full and bassy, but it also sounds blurry and weak. no definition at all. the riffs are still fast and the solos are still harmonized in a very similar way. he uses a pedal for hte harmonizing, so of course it will all sound the same. yes, i meant nergal. when i think of behemoth, i think of inferno :P . there are no "slam" riffs or mosh parts, but there arent many on the other albums either are there.

Damn I really want to hear this shit,I have there first two albums but from what people have told me this new is completely different.

Ive been listening to this cd now for a few months and i still cant get into it.... It just doesnt sound like the same band I listened to when they released Conquering the throne (which is still my fav HE album). KOAK didnt do a whole lot for me either but i guess there could still be another good release in a few years..... yay
