Well my Christmas turned to shit...today I found out my best friend of 8 years was murdered, one shot to the face. He was currently living outside Akorange(sp) Alaska.

It happened on Thursday..guy(s) broke into his apartment, some sort of confrontation occurs, they shoot him once in the head...steal the christmas presents that he bought for his family, took just jewlrey and took off. No real leads yet so his brother told me. He had a little dog that is now tramatized over the thing too.

Well i had a good xmas, played ps2 and watched movies all day. Except the next day i hear my uncle in nz is about to go to jail for about 15 years and my cousin is in a stable condition in auckland hospital after being stabbed celebrating christmas with some mates.

Anyway on a lighter note, one of my forumers lives in Calcutta and was saying he slept through the quake. A few of the lines, someone said sounded like a song so the Tsunami Blues were born. Someone took the snippet he said and added to it and then someone else wrote a melody line. I told them about RIP's idea here to put a song together. Now they're talking about Asia AID like Live Aid.

I went to a guitar store with my dad and a friend and they had the best deal on a 5150 II half stack. It was going for 1400$ Canadian altogether. When I got my Randall a guy was trying to sell us a 5150 COMBO for 1300$!.

I could have cryed while I was playing it. It was so awesome, and the guy was so nice. I was playing some Death riffs, and a worker comes up and say "Awesome Shuldiner riffs!" I'm so going to fucking buy that amp. He put on the lead setting and the bridge pickup and I did some arpeggios and it sounded like heaven.

Latest news reports have the death toll at 29,000 and counting. 8 Australians confirmed dead, there will be more. Hope it isn't her Jarrod. Troy Broadbridge (AFL Player) is missing too. This is a big end to a fucked up year.
